Both of which they have just done, of course.<BR/><BR/>The Social Democrats are still the largest party, they just don't have the overall majority they have had for most of the twentieth century. I think a lot of their electoral troubles can be attributed to the fact that they've been seen moving to the right over the last few years while the opposition has pretended to move to the left - a strategy David Cameron is copying.
